Device used since the 1960’s in operations of consolidation for paintings on wood panel in which the penetration of the consolidant finds various difficulties. The system, that foresees to close the work in an air tight bag, was successively perfected and employed in operations of lining, with the eventual use of an infrared transversal heat source.
