Material consisting of a textile of fibres of glass particularly thin and flexible, long or short, and of varying composition. In restoration, it is utilized both as a canvas for lining (treated with a wax-resin for transparent lining) and as an adapt support, treated with resins, for frescoes which have been removed from their original placement.
