Paper produced with lightly compressed fibers, perfectly degreased, without the presence of glue and thus characterized by its noted porosity and absorbent power. Traditionally, it is used in writing for absorbing excess ink, yet it also finds use in conservative restoration to absorb the humidity produced by injected glues in the operation of fixing the colours. |
