Chemical compound equipped with noted anesthetic power, utilized as an ingredient for insecticides and fungicides with a high penetrating power in wood and with a long action duration. It may be applied by painting, spraying or injection. It is the basis of many commercial products, among those sold is a product called Xilamon. Also see Chloronaphthaline.
